After an 8-year hiatus, legendary Sri Lankan music icon Rookantha Goonathilake returns to New Zealand for an unforgettable night of music and celebration. Titled “Once in a Lifetime,” this high-energy concert will take place on Friday, 25 July 2025 at PowerStation, Auckland.
Joining Rookantha on stage are two of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated female vocalists — the multi-award-winning Umaria Sinhawansa and the dynamic Raini Charuka. Together, they promise a powerful performance that spans generations of Sri Lankan music.
Backed by the internationally acclaimed ANTS Music Band, flown in from Sri Lanka, this fully standing concert is designed for music lovers who crave rhythm, dance, and nostalgia in a vibrant, live setting.
