KATCHAFIRE, KORA and the Sunshine Sound System are set to put winter on hold playing the Powerstation Friday June 26th & Saturday June 27th

Katchafire are one of NZ’s most prolific live bands and we’re privileged they’ve made a gap this winter to heat up the Powerstation all over again.

After a HUGE summer tour with The Black Seeds and Sons Of Zion, Katchafire headed straight into a US winter where they toured with Rebelution over January. They head back to Europe & Australia this July for a couple of months so we’re stoked to catch this performance on the back of their NZ winter tour run.

Meanwhile Kora have been honing their skills over summer with performances at Homegrown and Kaikoura Summer Fest, all ready to blast out their exciting sonic live set with their brothers Katchafire

Teaming up once more with the aptly named Sunshine Sound System, to present a kaleidoscopic blend of roots, rock, and reggae for your aural pleasure.

Delivering a couple of winter nights, of summer fun, Katchafire, Kora and Sunshine Sound System, Aotearoa’s finest roots, rock and reggae. A limited number of tickets for the Friday show have just been released, with Saturday being close to sold out.
