Kurt Cobain Tribute Concert

  • Saturday 12 April 2014

Twenty years ago fans around the world got news Nirvana's Kurt Cobain had taken his own life in his Seattle home.   As the years have passed, The Curmudgeons have gathered together at various times, under various names, with various different members, to pay musical homage to the God of Grunge, to belt out some of the finest tracks written by the Cardigan King.

The Curmudgeons feature Shae Snell on vocals, Ed Gaiger of Crescendo Mafia on bass and vocals, Mark Silcock of Blender on Guitar, Paul Brownlee on Guitar and Leon Wells of Stolen on Drums. They will be playing a two-hour set of Nirvana songs from all four studio albums, Bleach, Nevermind, Incesticide and In Utero.

This year they are joined by The Comedowns and Heathen Eyes, who will be performing original sets with a few Nirvana songs thrown in as well.  So get your flannel clad asses down to the Powerstation on April 12th and prepare to party like its 1994 baby!
