That's right, they're back! After selling out shows across the country last time, they return for a ONE OFF SHOW @ The Powerstation, December 4th with special guests.

They’re bringing a brand new album too! TRES CABRONES (which you can stream here now) AND they’re celebrating their 30th Birthday so the party is on!

And if that’s not enough Third Man Records (that’s Jack Whites label) have just released a 12”, Recorded direct to acetate @ The Blue Room In Nashville which you can listen right over here.

The latest offering (their 19th or is it their 22nd?) TRES CABRONES is released in November on Ipecac Recordings. It finds King Buzzo reuniting with original Melvins drummer Mike Dillard for their first full set of original songs since they recorded a collection of demos in 1983 — for this release, Dale Crover, the band's drummer for the last 29 years, is moving over to be temporarily hold court as the band's eighth bass player. …. “Tres Cabrones is as close as we’re willing to get to the Melvins 1983 line-up,” explained Osborne, of the 12-song album that reunites him, Dale Crover and original drummer Mike Dillard. “I specifically wrote tunes that would be good for these guys to play and it worked out great. We had no interest in rehashing tunes we wrote 30 years ago and chose instead to simply create NEW songs. It worked out perfectly.”

“Making the Tres Cabrones record was a real treat indeed. It’s a trip down memory lane complete with debauchery and ultra violence,” said Dillard, who left the band in 1984 only to be replaced by Crover.

“After 30 years we release a record with the (almost) original line-up of the band,” added Crover. “I’ve always felt that drummer Mike Dillard was one of us. It’s great that he’s still a piece of the puzzle! Plus, I get to see what it’s like being the bass player in the Melvins! Tres Cabrones indeed!”

Yes the Melvin’s have released a veritable shit tone of stuff over the last 30 years, and we love them for it, we can’t wait to see what they pull out of the bag at The Powerstation, don’t dilly dally on tickets ya’all – we have a massive annpuncement re; special guests still to come and we don’t want you to miss the 30th birthday party of them all!
